Collective Bargaining Agreement

Our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is a legally-binding contract between University of Alaska management and our United Academics bargaining unit. It is re-negotiated every three years. Our CBA protects UNAC bargaining unit members from unfair treatment such as additional workload assignments, arbitrary discipline, non-retention mid-year without just-cause, and more, while enshrining promotion and annual review processes, compensation and benefits expectations, and more.

The next opportunity to update our CBA is coming up in 2027. Specific timing TBD.
